PEC Zwolle overcame ADO Den Haag 1-0 at MAC³PARK Stadion thanks to Dylan Mbayo in the 45th minute. Excelsior's match against Twente at Van Donge & De Roo Stadion ended 0-9. Wout Weghorst scored in the 12th, 32nd and 33rd minutes and from a 62nd-minute penalty; Thomas Van den Belt scored in the 39th, Daan Rots in the 45+1st and 82nd, Jordy Bawuah in the 49th, and Ramiz Zerrouki converted a penalty in the 71st. Excelsior's Nesto groen was sent off in the fifth minute.

Telstar defeated Utrecht 4-2 at Sportpark Schoonenberg. Tyrone Owusu (8), Abdelnour Soualhia (25), Nökkvi Þeyr Þórisson (44) and Ar'jany Martha (59) scored for Telstar; Ángel Alarcón (42) and Yoann Cathline (46) scored for Utrecht.

Groningen lost 3-2 to Sparta Rotterdam at Hitachi Capital Mobility Stadion. Jacob Ondrejka scored in the first minute and Thom Van Bergen in the 29th for Groningen, while Cedric Hatenboer (15), Milan Zonneveld (25) and Andrej Kostić (85) scored for Sparta Rotterdam.
